Set at the wonderful Allerford Recreation Ground just outside Porlock on the Exmoor coast, which is all part of the amazing Holnicote Estate part of the National Trust.Ī truly exceptional area for trail running, with the marathon and ultra runners covering areas around Dunkery Hill and Horner Wood, two nature reserves before joining the South West Coast Path back towards Porlock and the finish, but not before taking on a small beach section, to really test those legs, followed by one last soul searching climb!Įxmoor is a brutal trail running challenge!
